1962 Zuendapp

If you see this bike in your rear view mirror you may mistake it for a small capacity cafe racer.  You would be right, but this would definitely be a case where objects may appear larger than what they are.  This bike is small and when I say small, I mean 50cc small.  Enough power to get you up to the local speed limit, tucked in, down hill, teeth clenched, wearing a full body lycra suit and a tear drop helmet. Photographer Lorenz Richard states that it may be the smallest cafe racer in the world, and has done a great job in capturing the level of detail in the build, and making it look larger than the stated 50cc capacity. The build iteself was created by Young Guns Speedshop in Rapperswil, Switzerland.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to find to much other info on the build or builder but if this is anything to go by I can't wait to see what else they come up with. You can see more of Lorenz Richard's photography work  here

And now for something completely different

I've always loved the idea of storing motorcycles in the house as part of the decor.  Not only do they make beautiful centre pieces in the lounge room but they also make for great dinner conservation after you've finished talking about the weather and your local sporting team. But sometimes rolling your pride and joy into the house just isn't feasible.  Phrases such as "It's me or the bike.." or "It's not you, it's the bike.." come to mind.  If that's the case you might want to check some of these out. Shop Life

It's been a great couple of weeks having this little popup shop in Paddington.  Thank-you to everyone that has stuck their head through the door and commented on our WD40 air freshener.  Not only have we added a bit of variety to the Paddington retail landscape, but we've had a blast chatting to other enthusiastic people about their builds sharing some ideas and just discussing bikes in general. We've had a variety of people walk in and share their stories, the most memorable one so far was from a lady who had ridden a Honda CB from Melbourne to Afghanistan in the 70's.  We also met another guy who had recovered from a stroke after being told by doctors that he would never walk again, now looking to get back onto two wheels.  There were also a couple of ladies that were looking for the jewellery shop that was here not long ago.  I tried to convince them that a couple of tyre valve caps would look great as earrings but they didn't fall for it. A large number

New Threads Available

Have had a good response in having these shirts hanging in the Popup so have decided to add them to the webshop.  I still find it strange and humbling that there are people out there that actually like what we've created.  These are screen printed here in Brisbane and the material they use is top notch as it feels as though it was sewn together by 1000 silkworms on a holistic retreat. Currently there are two designs one in black and the other in grey, although I was later told it was officially Grey Melange.   Melange or No Melange they're only $30AUD for a slim fit tee. You can find them in the Accessories > Threads section.

Just a quick post to say that we've open a POP-UP Shop in Paddington Brisbane. Swing past and say hello if you're in the area. 35 Latrobe Terrace Brisbane
